Our little girl is 6 years old now! Brinley's birthday is Valentine's Day and it makes that day so fun for us! She is a joy to have in our family and it is so yummy to celebrate her special day on the day of love and candy and sugar cookies and chocolate, and sugar highs and lows... She spent the day like this: First we went shopping for Easter dresses (which she hated- sorry B) Second we went and picked up her Dora plates and balloon bouquet (which she enjoyed) then she went off with Grandma Sandberg for a lunch date and then to Build-a-Bear for the traditional outing of picking out a new outfit for Ashlee the bear (sunglasses, purse, and all- which she loved). Then she was delivered back home to help get ready for her party. She was really excited about decorating her own cake and was very specific about colors and placement. She did a really great job and told me that maybe she should be a cake decorator when she grows up. We opened presents just as soon as our guests arrived then ate dinner. What was her birthday meal choice? Hot dogs- so we BBQed some weiners on the frozen patio. Thanks Stevie. We enjoyed our meal and then played some games and ate cake. It was a fun night. Thanks to our families for sharing in it. We love you.

Cute Picasa collage and LOVE that B wrote her name on her cake. It was so cute. Glad we live close enough to be a part of such events.
A cake decorator is a great idea - her talent is already developing and when she has a family she will be able to practice lots. Happy b-day!!!
